There are three ways to order New Moon Magazine.
- Internet - Go to www.newmoonstore.com and have your Visa or Mastercard ready. To place a subscription you will need to enter the store by clicking on the "Click Here To Shop" button. Our site IS SECURE; however, as with most sites the lock doesn't show up until you get to the page where you are actually entering in your personal information.
- Telephone - You may order by calling 1-800-381-4743 or 218-728-5507. We accept Visa or Mastercard. Due to the limitations of our small staff you may be asked to leave your information on our voice mail system. Orders and the information left in the voice mail subscription box are safe and checked by the one person who processes new subscriptions. They will be processed. You will not receive a phone call confirming this. We will e-mail confirmations upon request.
- U.S. Mail - You may send a check, money order, cashiers check (in U.S. funds only) or your credit card number along with your billing information and the complete name and address of the person to whom you want the magazine sent.

To Report a Change of Address
New Moon Publishing is not responsible for missed issues due to a change of address not being reported to our office.
To change the address of a subscription, send the old/incorrect address and the new/correct address to subscriptions@newmoon.org.
Other Frequently Asked Questions
How many issues are left in my subscription?
The expiration date of your subscription is always listed on the mailing label above your name. To find out the status of a gift subscription, please e-mail the full name and zip code of both the person who purchased the subscription and the recipient (please identify which is which) to subscriptions@newmoon.org.
Is shipping extra?
No, shipping charges are included in the price of the subscriptions.
I am giving a gift subscription to a girl. Will she receive something saying it's from me?
A gift card for you to fill out and pass on to the girl will be sent to you along with your order confirmation as soon as your order is processed.
Why does it take 8 -12 weeks for a new subscription to start?
Most monthly publications take 6 - 8 weeks to start being delivered. Because New Moon is bi-monthly, ours takes a little bit longer. New Moon is sent to subscribers directly from a fulfillment house. We have to have our list of subscribers to them about three weeks in advance of each issue. If your order was not processed somewhere in between when our last issue went out and when we need to send our list to the fulfillment house, your subscription will begin with the following issue, which would go out roughly 12 weeks from when your order was processed.
Is there anything that can be done so that I can get the magazine sooner?
Yes, you may purchase a single issue to be sent directly from our office via first class mail. The cost to be delivered in the US is $7.00. You may order on-line at www.newmoonstore.com or by calling 1-800-381-4743 or 218-728-5507.
What if my girl doesn't like it?
New Moon: The Magazine For Girls and Their Dreams is edited by a group of 8 - 14 year old girls. Most of the content is written by girls in that age group and that is the age range that we recommend it for. If you are not sure if it will suit the girl in your life, you can always order a subscription and if she doesn't like it, we will gladly send you a refund for any unsent issues.
Is there a magazine like New Moon for boys?
We wish that there was a similar organization/magazine for boys but we have not heard of one. There are some helpful books available that we recommend such as: Fathering by Will Glennon; The Courage to Raise Good Men by Silverstein & Rashbaum; and Beyond Dolls & Guns: 101 Ways to Help Children Avoid Gender Bias by Crawford.
New Moon portrays girls and women as powerful, active, and in charge of their own lives-not as passive beings who are acted upon by others. New Moon celebrates girls and their accomplishments. New Moon supports girls' efforts to hold onto their voices, strengths, and dreams as they move from being girls to becoming women.
How do I submit writing to New Moon?

Will you send me a sample copy of New Moon?
We do not send out free sample copies. New Moon Publishing is a small, independent publisher and our focus on content has led to the policy regarding paid advertising in our publication. New Moon®: The Magazine For Girls And Their Dreams carries no advertising. Most magazines depend on ad revenue to cover the high costs of production. Because our publication carries no ads, we rely on sales of the magazines to keep them in print.
We do sell single issues for $7.00, which includes first-class postage. Other options include libraries, bookstores (many Barnes & Noble, Borders and independent booksellers carry New Moon ).
How about an old copy?
Because of our no-ad policy and the timelessness of our themes, our back issues are a sale-able product, which helps defer the cost of publication.
Can I have a copy for my school library?
We do have a special packet for teachers & librarians that contain a complimentary copy of New Moon, information about our company and suggested learning activities for using New Moon in the class room. To request a library pack, please submit the name of the teacher or librarian you want to receive it, plus the name and address of the school or library, and we'll mail one right away.
