Think you're beautiful? That's 'cause you are!
It's time to start thinking about our next “25 Beautiful Girls” issue! It won't be like any Beautiful Girls issue you've ever seen before because this time we want you to nominate YOURSELF! Since the “25 Beautiful Girls” issues started, we've asked friends and family to nominate girls for being beautiful just the way they are. While it's important for others to recognize your beauty, it's important for YOU to recognize it, too. The May/June 2008 issue will profile “25 Beautiful Girls: Toot Your Own Horn” finalists . So, don't be shy — tell us exactly what makes you beautiful!
To nominate yourself:
- You must be between the ages of 7 and 12 years old.
- Your “Toot Your Own Horn” essay should be no more than 300 words long.
- Include your complete name and address, E-mail address, phone number, and age.
- Send us your essay by October 19, 2007 to girl@newmoon.org or to New Moon Publishing, 2 W. First Street , Ste. 101 , Duluth , MN 55802 .
- Each essay must have only one author. That means you and another girl can't nominate yourselves in the same essay, but we hope you DO each submit separate essays about yourself!
- Do NOT send photos with your essay.
