Hi Priya, It can really be hard to feel different! I am sure you are frustrated about the phone situation. One thing to keep in mind is that your parents are trying to protect you. That means that they are doing their best. They would probably admit that they make mistakes at time. If you have a good reason for having a cell phone -- maybe for safety, or so you can keep in touch with them -- try to make your case in a respectful way. There's no limit to the number of stickers you can have on your stickers page! And to put a poem on New Moon Girls, simply log in, then go to "Your Stuff." Click on "Create Something New" and then select "write a poem." After you've typed your poem into the text box, you can choose to submit it to the Poetry page here at New Moon Girls. If you don't send it to the poetry page, girls can still read it when they visit your room and your stuff.

If you ordered your membership before December 30th, you will receive the January/February 2009 issue of New Moon Girls magazine. If you ordered late in the month, you may receive your Jan/Feb issue in the second mailing, which means it would arrive at the end of January instead of the beginning. But as long as you placed your order before December 30th, you should get it! (If you placed your order after December 30th, your first issue will be the March/April magazine).

Hello Heather, The New Moon magazine is 16! It was founded by Nancy Gruver and her twin daughters, Mavis Gruver and Nia Kelly. Nia and Mavis didn't have a good magazine to read that reflected who girls are inside and gave them a chance to talk about their dreams. Dear Natalie, It's hard when you're in the middle! Have you tried getting them to talk about what the problem is? I would do this when you're all together or you might end up in the middle which is not a fun place to be! You can ask them to be honest but nice. If it doesn't get better after awhile (sometimes it takes time to make changes), you might have to see them separately! Many people like to use abbreviations even if they're not restricted in the length of what they write. Thanks for reporting this. If your computer has a slow connection, the delay in sending information may be messing up the bottom half of the page. To help us fix this bug, please send an email to feedback@newmoongirls.com and include 1) a detailed description of what's happening -- does the bottom half not show up at all? Does it show up with nonsense characters? Does it appear faded? etc.; 2) the name of each of the browser's you've noticed this on, including the version if you know it (i.e. - version 2.5, version 8.2, etc.). 3) If it's possible to take a screengrab of what's happening, please attach it to your email. Sometimes a picture doesn't come up if it is still awaiting moderation (or waiting for an editor's approval), or if it's not the correct file type. Pictures that are .jpg or .gif files should upload just fine if they are under 10 MB. Please check back often to see if the girls' photos have been reuploaded -- and continue to report any glitches you think you've found to feedback@newmoongirls.com with a) a description of what happened and when and b) the name of the web browser you're using (internet explorer, firefox, etc.), including the version if you know it (3.0, 4.2, etc.).

Your artwork may be awaiting moderation, meaning that an adult editor hasn't approved it yet. Also, double check to make sure your artwork was either a .jpg or .gif file, as those are the file types that work best on New Moon Girls. Also make sure your photos are under 10 MB in size. There are a couple things that could have happened. 1) Your picture may be waiting moderation, meaning an adult editor has to approve it before it shows up; OR your picture may not have been approved because it was copyrighted to someone else; 2) your file type may not have been an accepted file type on NewMoonGirls.com -- double check to make sure all pictures you upload are .gif or .jpg files and that they are under 10 MB in size.
